Anna's Christmas (Paperback)

She waited. She saw Him. She worshipped. Companion volumes in this series have already traced Anna's own encounter alongside Simeon's and Mary's own stories. Anna's Christmas returns to Anna specifically, tracing her story from a widowhood shaped by genuine early grief, through a tribal identity preserved faithfully across generations her own nation had largely given up as lost, to the single morning her decades of sustained fasting and prayer finally, completely paid off. From a life measured in constant temple presence, to the quiet echo running between her own name and Hannah's, to guidance bringing her to precisely the right instant, to a recognition requiring no outward sign to assist it, to worship offered immediately and a public testimony spoken with real courage in a culture that did not expect to trust a woman's word, to her own place among Scripture's brief, notable list of named prophetesses, this book traces Anna's complete story, a woman whose own three recorded verses still have much to say to anyone learning to wait, to see, and to worship. Written in a warm, clear, and accessible voice, this is the twenty second book in the author's Christmas series, and it stands complete on its own. For anyone who has ever wondered what faithful waiting actually looks like, day after day, year after year, this book offers Anna's own patient, complete example.
